Tomintoul Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Unlike most other Tomintoul expressions, 'Peated' is distilled using peated malted barley. The Master Distiller has been mindful to retain the approachable, sweet and fruity characteristics associated with the distillery's regular bottlings, so you can expect a light to medium bodied dram with a gently smokey character. 40% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... Nose: Sweet and sooty with aromas of campfire smoke, ginger biscuits, coffee grounds and smoked meats with a subtle nettle freshness. Palate: Layers of hazelnut, smoky bacon and treacle toffees mingled with toasted oats, peat smoke and sweet liquorice with lemon zest highlights. Finish: Nutty and smoky with notes of coffee cake, bell pepper, roasted pecans and mellow spices.
