Sullivans Cove Single Cask TD0297 French Oak 17 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Australian Whisky (700ml)

A significant release for Sullivan's Cove, cask TD0297 represents their first age statement whisky to be bottled at cask strength. Filled in July of 2008 and decanted in October of 2025 for a maturation of 17 years, 3 months, the 300L French oak cask yielded only 343 bottles. As with other expressions under the "Old & Rare" label, the casks employed previously contained x-tawny port. Aside from notes of juicy dark fruits, chocolate, spice, nuts and earthy herbal nuances, these single casks boast incredible complexity and length. Originally available via ballot, each bottle comes in a unique, hand made, Huon Valley Blackwood presentation box, and includes a letter from Distillery Manager, Heather Tillott. Summing up the whisky, she describes it as “A divine interplay of vibrant fruit and deep Sullivans Cove spirit. The oak’s structure is present but measured, binding each element with finesse.
