Saison Pale Rum (700ml)

'Saison Pale' marries molasses-based rums and column-distilled sugarcane-based distillates from Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica. The components are blended by Cognac expert, Jerome Tessendier in France. There, the rum is allowed to round off for three months in French oak barrels, adding a smooth hint of oak to the fruity and elegantly spicy spirit before bottling without added sugar. The result is softer than its extra-aged sibling, tamed by French-finesse, yet still vivacious and natural with an agricole-like quality that includes flavours of semi ripe banana, icing sugar and papaya. This delicious rum offers a fresh edge over sweetened competitors when it comes to Mojitos, Daiquiris and Mai Tais. 40% Alc./Vol. Tasted from a 20ml sample.
