Blended and finished at the Tessendier Cognac House in France, Saison's slightly older 'Gold' edition sees multi-cask maturation in x-bourbon and French oak making for a medium bodied, elegant and drier styled rum. Caney freshness reminiscent of aged agricoles is accompanied by gingery warmth, tingling alcohol, vanillan oak and fruit bread notes through the finish.
