Roby Marton Gin (700ml)

An Italian gin produced from double distilled neutral grain spirit. A part of the final distillate is put into a container with the botanicals and "cold compounded". The mix includes citrus peel, cinnamon, liquorice root, anise, juniper, pink pepper, horseradish, ginger, red fruits and cloves.

Tasting note: [2016 bottling tasted] Pours like young Chardonnay. Excellent lift with a fresh bouquet of piney juniper, cardamom, herbal tea, balsa wood, white pepper and vibrant gingery warmth. Full bodied. Builds with juniper over chamomile, cardamom and curry leaf. Finish is brisk, clean, peppery, followed by orris root, herbal tea and juniper in the aftertaste. Weighty. Warming. Very satisfying. 47% Alc./Vol. Bottled unfiltered.
