Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Rye Whiskey (750ml)

Made from 95% rye / 5% malted barley and aged for over four years in new charred oak. A soft, fruity rye, reminiscent of Sazerac in its subtly peach-apple aromatics and soft rounded mouthfeel. On the palate, dried apricots combine with a slathering of sweet spices; light oils add succulence and length to the finish, leaving you with orange curaçao and cocoa. One of the highlights in the Redwood lineup. Add a few drops of water to accent the keynote grain. Matured in northern California. 45% Alc./Vol.

The palate is equally fresh, with balanced notes of red fruit, iced tea, and vanilla. The finish is quite long, with more vanilla, and lemon sorbet, balanced by savoury espresso.
