Ettore Zucca created this amaro liqueur in 1885, a bittersweet Italian aperitif, made using the root of the Chinese rhubarb, found only in mountainous Kansu province. After having been absorbed by liqueur giant Disarrono, they relaunched the product, harking back to the drink's roots and boosting the abv by almost double. Expect flavours of cola, molasses, and burnt coffee with gently bitter and smoky herbal notes. 30% Alc./Vol.
