Marsala is the famous fortified wine from the isle of Sicily (Italy) that has held DOC status since 1969. Aged in a Solera-style system, the wines deliver complex flavours of carmelised brown sugars and a nutty-sweetness. This Pintail edition had a nine-month finish in an ex-Solera casks adding notes of demerara sugar, candied walnuts, dates and apricot-y flavours. 272 bottles at 46.9% Alc./Vol.
