Oliver Matter Nutmeg Gin (700ml)

Oliver Matter are continuously developing their products. Their initial Gin Prototype #42 has been modified on several occassions. In the words of the distillers, "First of all, we lowered the fairly dominant Coriander profile and added more Hyssop. At this stage, we called it 'Hyssop Gin'. After a while we felt it was time to work on this protocol again, so we decided to add nutmeg as an additional aroma. We’re now happy with this new-found balance, with the hyssop not overpowered, but still present. The base of our Gin is found in a manual from 1954, “Rezeptesammlung für Destillateure”. This is the finest gin distilled in the London Dry style".

Botanicals include Juniper, Hyssop, Corinader, Ginger, Orange Peels and Nutmeg, macerated in a grain alcohol base before being distilled in a copper alembic.
