Old Louisville Whiskey Co. Straight Bourbon Whiskey Batch 2 (750ml)

A straight Bourbon, aged 7-10 years and bottled at barrel proof – uncut, unfiltered. Prickly opening sniffs reveal dried corn over light vanilla and caramel; wavers and narrows, accenting oak shavings before bouncing back. Lots of oak to the attack; Fruit cake, dried peach, sweeter grains and vanillas struggle to gain ground over the wood spices which clinch the finish. Ends mildly astringent, fading with bitter dark chocolate and moderate persistence. 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. 1622 bottles produced. 48% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
