Lallier Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut Grand Cru
Aged for 36 months on lees with 30% reserve wines included in the blend. Pours with an exuberant mousse which holds well over a pale straw coloured base that has gold tinged edges and a fine persistent bead flowing through it. Filling the nostrils are aromas of pear, baked bread and dried honey followed by brioche and yeast lees notes. Rich and creamy textured baked bread, yeast lees and dried honey flavours fill the mouth with some pear, cashew and chalky mineral characters lingering through the back half. Finishes dry and crisp with a long, generous airy aftertaste.
