This sparkling pours with a good creamy purple mousse showing good hold. Very fine bead showing excellent persistence with dark red base wine colour. Aromas of ripe blackberry and liquorice dominate the nose followed by some dark plum and dark chocolate. Medium bodied the palate delivers flavours of dark plum and dark chocolate followed by a touch of liquorice and vanilla. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, blackberry and dark plum.
