This superb XO Cognac has been aged between 22 and 35 years. Deep orange onion brown colour with deepish olive green meniscus, showing its age. The nose is much more refined than the Carte Blanche, missing those aggressive fiery end notes that warm the nose. This Cognac has the refinement and perfect balance of age. Velvet smooth palate texture, displaying superb length and depth of flavour counterpointed by very fine spirit. Exceptionally long velvet aftertaste.
