While most Tres Vieux expressions might be aged for 10-12 years for extra richness, Pasquet's super long maturation has resulted in a an utterly singular wine, boasting a remarkable integration of aged notes co-mingling with fresher flavours. The palate ranges through dried apricot, honey, and candied citrus, hints of nuts, subtle rancio, fruit, honey, and spice - at times, even delicately oxidative, highlighting the character that only decades of ageing can bring.
