Imbue Distillery Angel's Share Port Cask Single Malt Australian Whisky (700ml)

This pilsner grain based whisky was aged for three years in 100 litre barrels previously filled with Aussie Tawny port. A lovely, supple, rounded mouth-feel and a nice integration of fruity-malty flavours make for a dram that's dangerously easy to drink. Finishing hints of vanilla and Turkish Delight highlight the cask influence. 43% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... Nose: vintage leather, licorice, roasted  stonefruits, oak. Palate: black walnut, brown butter, treacle. Finish: fruit cake spice and dry tannins.
