Tasting note: [Barrel 0001] This is Sullivan's Cove variant on the original Hobart No.4 Gin. Aged for 18 months in a 300 litre French Oak cask previously used to mature Sullivan's Cove single malt whisky, it features expressive aromas of crushed pine buds, peppercorns, menthol and spiced lemon chutney. Keenly balanced oak input combines with flavours of lemon, juniper and pepper. Creamy and deliciously vibrant. Concludes piney, wonderfully fresh, warming and long. 45.6% Alc./Vol.
