Henriot Blanc de Blancs Champagne

A highly finessed Blanc de Blancs Champagne.

Made from 100% Chardonnay with 30% to 50% reserve wines included in the blend and aged for a minimum of 3 years. Pours with a fluffy white mousse which sits atop a pale straw coloured base that has pale gold tinged edges. Fine nibble stream of persistent bubbles. Baked bread, pear and yeast lees aromas rise through the nostrils with good authority followed by some oily brioche and citrus like scents. Highly finessed, the palate carries a mildly creamed, airy like feel with baked bread, yeast lees and citrus flavours detailed over a subtle pear, cashew and oily toast back drop. Finely meshed it has mouth watering acidity and a long, refined finish.
