The 'HSE' Rum Company offers a range of rums finished in x Cognac, Whisky and Sherry casks, adopting the same principles of maturation that many innovative Single Malt Scotch whiskies have employed for decades. This blend of three to four year-old rums was mainly aged in x- bourbon barrels. .

Tasting note: Deep copper. A terrific rum sniff offering dense fruit cake plus cinnamon, chico lolly and later hints of maple syrup. Five minutes in the glass finds the accent shift towards liquorice bullets and brown sugar.
