Glenfarclas Private Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) - 48%

A 48% bottling for the French market, released in 2024. There have been a series of these labels, some bottled at 45% and 46% ABV. Sort of a private selection bottling, the outturn of these editions is usually around 10,000 bottles, however this one's limited to 6000 only. Compared with the relatively genteel character of the 17YO, 18YO, or even 21YO, this contemporary expression promises a bolder, more spicy character that conversely, lends itself to being consumed with a dash of water.
