Gabriel Boudier Curacao Bleu (Blue Curacao) Liqueur (500ml)
The name "Curaçao" originates from the island of Curaçao, part of the Netherlands Antilles. The liqueur bearing its name was originally made by the Dutch and composed of peels from bitter oranges or Seville oranges. At Gabriel Boudier, small bitter oranges are carefully removed and distilled in 170-year-old stills. The orange distillate is then enhanced with a natural flavour and just the right amount of sugar. The French variant known as Blue Curaçao brings a touch of exoticism, freshness and originality to cocktails. Characterised by its colour, zesty peel aromatics and not-too-sweet orangey flavour, it brightens the palate with its delicate bitterness. The 'Blue Lagoon' is the liqueur's signature cocktail, featuring Blue Curaçao mixed with vodka and lemonade, typically garnished with an orange slice or a lemon slice. 25% Alc./Vol.
