Foursquare Covenant Exceptional Cask Selection Mark XXIII 18 Year Old Full Proof Single Blended Rum (700ml)

This very old blend of traditional column and pot still rums, tropically aged for a whopping 18 years exclusively in American oak ex-Bourbon casks represents the 23rd release (Mark XXIII) for the Exceptional Cask Selection series and is the oldest distillery released bottling on record. Based on rums distilled in 2004 and 2005, a decade in cask led to it being vatted, then after a considered reduction in alcoholic strength, it was re-casked for a further eight years before bottling at 58% ABV without added colour or chill filtration.
