Florentino Shiraz

This is a red that was produced for one of Melbournes most famous resteraunts- Florentino's in Bourke Street. It appears the Lone Gum Winery, a subsidary of Normans Wines, bottled more than the restaurant took up and so we snapped up the balance at a bargain basement price.Medium weight, crimson colour. Youthful spicy, inky shiraz nose. The palate displays young shiraz flavour, again dominated by spicy ink. Good length, soft tannins with spicy aftertaste. A good quaffer and great value for money.
