Filliers Genevre Aux Prunes Plum Liqueur (700ml)

This unusual plum liqueur uses Filliers Jenever as a base spirit and reportedly includes chocolate, vanilla, coconut, banana and amaretto amongst other ingredients.

Tasting note: Pale gold ochre appearance. The aroma is a little confected - sweet prune and hints of spice, in particular cinnamon and nutmeg. Seems to smell more like amaretto after a few minutes of exposure. Less sweet and more natural than the nose suggests, the palate possesses moderately concentrated prune juice flavours tempered by mild acidity. Good balance. Concludes less sweet. Prune aftertaste. Subtly spicy, dried fruit fade. 20% Alc./Vol.
