Downpour Coast & Croft Gin (700ml)

Made at the North Uist Distillery on the Isle of Benbecula in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, Downpour Gin uses local ingredients including wild thyme, which adds herbaceous notes as well as pepper dulse, which adds savoury touches of pepper that are full of umami. Other botanicals include juniper, coriander, lemon, angelica root and pink peppercorn. The distillation process retains visible traces of the botanical oils and essences, which results in a slightly cloudy appearance when mixed. Recommended with premium tonic, garnished with a slice of fresh lemon and a sprig of fresh rosemary. 40% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... Bursting with citrus, spice and the honeyed finish of wild Hebridean heather blossoms foraged in Uist by friends of the distillery before being bartered for gin. Perfect serve: Ice, tonic, lemon, rosemary.
