Tasting note: Eye catching deep gold / polished brass colour. Offers up soft, semi sweet but subdued aromas of dilute honey, dried thyme and beeswax. Remains aromatically restrained on the second pass, if anything becoming more muted. Super soft delivery is almost a non-event with none of the robust, earthy, exotic flavours associated with the genre. Issues a barely perceptible, semi sweet, smokey herb and spice accent at the finish to conclude flabby, short and flat. A mezcal for people who don’t like mezcal? 40% Alc./Vol.
