Tasting note: Brilliant deep gold appearance. Offers seductive scents of vanilla custard, walnuts and flashes of balsamic. Second pass stimulates toffee apple over suggestions of coconut oil. A soft entry introduces a supple, pleasantly warming and dryish profile including flavours of roasted nut, raisins and vanilla; good balance. Charming Armagnac, cut short by overbearing oak at the finish. 43%Alc./Vol.
