This is the second gin from Copperhead, also produced according to a “secretly discovered recipe" derived from “a notorious alchemist” named Mr. Copperhead who divined the ingredients while searching for “the elixir of life.” Reportedly, this is not your typical London dry, nor does it pretend to be. The five botanicals used in the original version are employed (juniper, orange zest, angelica, coriander and cardamom), however 'Black Batch" adds elderberry, black berries and black Ceylon tea to the mix.
