This is an impressive style showing considerable refinement

A new disgorgement with the 2012 vintage making up 60% of the base wine produced from a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir aged for 30 months on lees.

Good creamy white mousse with a very pale gold base wine colour and a fine profuse bead. The nose shows good intensity with scents of toasted honey, yeast lees, pear, roasted almonds and oily baked bread end notes. The palate is quite rich and full, yet fresh with a developed toasty flavour profile and oily mouthfeel. Toasty dried honey, pear and baked bread characters are intermixed with yeast lees and cashew. Clean dry finish with an aftertaste of yeast lees, toast, subtle pear infusions and cashew.

Produced from predominately Chardonnay along with a small amount of Pinot Noir this blend is given 2 years bottle age on lees. Good white frothy mousse which dissipates to reveal a pale straw gold coloured base. Very fine bead showing excellent persistence. On the nose aromas of baked bread, citrus, subtle cashew, toast and yeast lees are present. Light and fresh the palate has flavours of citrus and baked bread over a background of toast and yeast lees. Clean crisp dry finish. Medium to long aftertaste of yeast lees, toast and baked bread. A very good aperitif style sparkling.
