Charles Melton Sparkling Red

Aged for 40 months on lees. An over flowing dark red tinged mousse slowly dissipates to reveal a dark red black tinged coloured base that has an extremely fine bead flowing through it. Sailing from the glass are aromas of dark plum and liquorice which are complimented by vanilla, earthy dark chocolate and spice notes. Rich and velvety, concentrated dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours are delivered with great power across the mid weighted palate. Vanillin earth and spicy mocha characters lurk underneath. Fluffy and opulent in its feel, it has a long, seductive finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
