Part of Bruichladdich's new line of Travel Retail Exclusives under the Re/Defined range, featuring groundbreaking outer packaging created with James Cropper, a specialist in sustainable luxury presentations. The bespoke, coloured paper pulp wrap is moulded to the distillery's proprietary bottle shape - a first for any spirits product. Made using a combination of Scottish mainland barley, Islay-grown and organic barley, the whisky was matured in 80% ex-Bourbon casks and 20% Sherry casks (Oloroso and PX Butts), showcasing the profound influence of time and high-provenance oak on Laddie's complex, floral spirit. Head Distiller, Adam Hannett balances the influence of each – the PX bringing sweet raisin and fig, the Oloroso adding walnut, toasted oak and spice, all harmonising with the Bourbon’s contribution. 50% Alc./Vol. Non-chill filtered.
