Boatrocker Spiced Rum (700ml)

Boatrocker has approached the spiced category with fresh eyes and a new world palate. After over three years in oak, one in French and two in ex-bourbon barrels, a variety of botanicals were macerated in the spirit, including mountain pepperberry, Peruvian coffee beans, smoked applewood & South American tonka beans to produce a unique and cinnamon-free updated take on the classic spiced rum. The bouquet pops with rum-soaked fruits, cocoa, lamingtons and light vanilla. The palate packs depth for a 40% spirit, laced with soft, plump, rum soaked cherry fruit cake, coconut rum balls and late hints of vanilla and Amaretto. It's smooth and creamy, sweet, but hardly overblown, and with a gingery warmth that will please traditionalists. Great new spiced rum. 40% Alc./Vol.
