Boatrocker Ramjet Australian Whisky (500ml)

A recurring theme in Boatrocker's spirits is that they're good at jamming in maximum flavour. This whisky started as an imperial stout, then was distilled and rested in a Pedro Ximénez cask for five years. Both the nose and palate are a saturate of rich malt and cherry-filled dark chocolate with controlled sherry input, the PX asserting itself at the finish, giving the aftertaste over to gentle tannins and wood spices. The balance is superbly keyed in. A sumptuous whisky you could have on regular rotation and rarely tire of. Even with water, the flavour impact remains remarkable. 45% Alc./Vol.
