2026 Tim Adams Pinot Gris
Concentrated and gorgeously rounded with fresh acidity and a long, lusciously fruited finish.
After visiting the Alsace region in the late 1990’s where Riesling and Pinot Gris grow side by side, it seemed logical to Tim Adams that if Clare Valley had the conditions to produce world class Rieslings, it could also make quality Pinot Gris. The first vines were subsequently planted in the Tim Adams Ladera vineyard and today their Pinot Gris is one of the country's most popular.
Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Intense pear, ripe red apple and quince aromas are trailed by notes of musk and spice. Gorgeously rounded and showing excellent concentration, the palate is awash with juicy pear and red apple fruits. Some quince, delicate musk and spice elements are also present. Fresh acidity with a long, lusciously fruited finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
