2026 Henschke Peggy’s Hill Riesling
Racy and concentrated with a long, zesty finish.
This Riesling takes its name from a local landmark, Peggy’s Hill, located at the top of the range between the villages of Eden Valley and Keyneton. It is produced from a selection of longstanding Eden Valley Riesling growers, whose vines range from 10 to 70 years of age, growing in low-vigour, ancient Cambrian soils at around 500m altitude.
Brilliant water like core with green tinted edges. Jumping out of the glass are intense lime, citrus and orange rind aromas which intermingle with talc, green apple and chalky mineral notes. Displaying terrific concentration and drive, racy lime, citrus and orange rind fruits burst across what is a mouth-watering palate. Notions of green apple, chalky talc and flinty mineral characters linger across the back half. Crunchy acidity with a long, zesty finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
