2026 Clonakilla Riesling

Concentrated and texturally voluminous yet zippy, this is a superb Riesling.

Whilst best known for their Shiraz Viognier, Clonakilla also produce world class Riesling. Murrumbateman's cool climate and decomposed granite soils are ideal for it’s production.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense lime, citrus and orange rind scents engulf the nostrils trailed by some chalky talc and mineral notes. Zesty lime, lemon and Granny Smith apple fruits are both concentrated and texturally voluminous. Lining the back half are notions of orange rind, talc and chalky mineral elements. Possessing zippy acidity and outstanding drive, it finishes long and scrumptious.
