A light, savoury Pinot with an elegant finish.

Dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Spicy red to dark cherry and strawberry aromas are trailed by hints of rhubarb, dried herbs and forest floor. Light and savoury, red to dark cherry, winter strawberry and rhubarb fruits are featured over some forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar characters. Fine grained tannins with an elegant finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

You’re getting a fair bang for your buck with this Macedon Pinot Noir. Shows a compelling mix of red fruits with a subtle truffle-oil nuance and a damp earthen-floor infusion. Medium-bodied but finely structured, with chalky tannins, lightly applied oak, and plenty of fruit generosity. Drinking beautifully now, though a little more time in the cellar will allow the fruit characters to develop even more. Drink 2025-2032.

I’m not sure I’ve tried a Williams Crossing Pinot Noir before. This is raised in oak that’s all older then three years of age.
It’s a savoury style of Pinot Noir with dark cherry, redcurrant, pastrami and dried twigs, only medium-bodied, with good density of flavour, cool balanced acidity, a tight sort of graphite and dusty feel to tannin, gentle sappiness, and fine length. It has complexity and it drinks well. Nice.
