2025 Tiefenbrunner Merus Pinot Grigio

Nicely shaped with lively acidity and a long spice laden finish.

Founded in 1848 Tiefenbrunner is considered to be a benchmark producer in the Alto-Adige region. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks followed by four months ageing on lees in concrete vats.
Brilliant pale straw colour with green flecked edges and a watery hue. Citrus, pear and green apple skin aromas are trailed by some stony mineral notes. Delicious pear, red apple skin and citrus flavours carry a shapely feel across the palate with notions of subtle dried honey, quince and spice extending across the back half. Excellent concentration with lively acidity and a long spice laden finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
