2025 Pacha Mama Pinot Gris
A spicy, nicely shaped Pinot Gris.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of pear and red apple skin are followed by hints of lime, wet slate and ginger. Delicious pear and red apple fruits carry nice shape across the palate underscored by refreshing acidity. Subtle quince, ginger and wet slate elements sit in the background. Spicy well fleshed finish.
Drink over the next year.
Alc. 12.6%
Other Reviews…..
Excellent vintage conditions – warm days, cool nights – in the King Valley have produced a well-balanced, silky gris blessed with an almost effortless ease of delivery. Arrives in fresh, lifted scents of honeysuckle, melon, apple, pear and ginger root. Offers a smooth, rolling texture and bright acidity, with flavours running from apple and pear through to some spiced-up, tangy citrus. Earthy ginger and hints of musk stick to close. Drink by 2030.
