2025 Nicks Secret SOYL Pinot Gris

From the same producer as the 2025 Nicks Secret JT Riesling, fruit was sourced from both the Clare Valley and Adelaide Hills to make this delicious Pinot Gris.

Luscious, texturally mouth filling Pinot Gris.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Fragrantly scented, pear, red apple and rosewater aromas fly through the nostrils with some musk and spice notes also evident. Juicy and luscious, white peach, pear, red apple and musk flavours have a mouth filling effect across the concentrated palate. Subtle quince and spice elements lurk underneath. Textural with refreshing acidity enhancing the long fruity conclusion.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

A delicious Pinot Gris, which is an even split between the Clare Valley and Adelaide Hills for fruit. The two parcels were fermented discretely and then blended before bottling. Straw with a hint of bronze, the nose is all crisp nashi pears, minerals, florals, green apples and a hint of gunflint. A seductive texture, the wine has balance and good length. For enjoying over the next four to six years. Drink 2025-2031.
