This delicious, vibrant Pinot Noir is produced from four different clones planted in vineyards located at Gumeracha, Forreston, Lobethal and Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills. 2025 was a warm, sunny vintage that produced excellent quality fruit of good concentration, tannin and particularly colour. Brimming with savoury red fruits it sees no oak in order to preserve freshness and purity.

A delicious everyday drinking Pinot at a bargain basement price.

Dark red heart with black toned edges and a bright red purple hue. Blossoming out of the glass are fragrant cherry, strawberry and red liquorice scents trailed by whiffs of violet, fresh herbs and spicy earth. Juicy cherry, strawberry and red plum fruits are delivered with impressive concentration over a back drop of anise, infusions of fresh herbs and spice. Displaying excellent length, it has polished tannins, a supple texture and a fresh red to dark fruited finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Other Reviews….
Comes together with signature Adelaide Hills fleshy fruit presence and style. Bright cherry red hues. Cherry is definitely the theme here with scents of dusty red cherry, cranberry, pepper, crushed herbs, fennel seed and hints of rose florals. There’s a real brightness and energy to the youngster with oak in balance. Cherry fruits, raspberry and cranberry shine on the palate while red liquorice, dried herbs and peppery spice mingle in the background. Delivers plenty of upfront juiciness with an easy textural flow on a bed of brisk tannins. Drink 2025-2032.

It’s fabulously fruited and inviting on the nose with aromas of sweet cherry, plum, floral, thyme, and warm spices. The palate displays succulent fruit flavours with a silky texture and supple mouthfeel, elegantly framed by polished tannins, offering delightful drinking. At its best: now to 2031.

From a warm, dry and early vintage, this new release sits more in a savoury pocket than straight out fruit bomb territory, exhibiting kitchen garden aromas, thyme especially, through to native foliage, saltbush, and more exotic Boronia, delicate and seductive, tempered a touch with subtly charry oak. All this settles comfortably into the palate that has a thread of black cherry flavour, echoing aromas, and a neatly fitting, soft velcro tannin grip to finish. Still quite tight in its youth and will unfold with further personality over the next year or two when its crazy value will increasingly reward.
