2025 Mt. Difficulty Bannockburn Pinot Gris

Rich, full and luscious with a glossy texture.

Fermented in a mix of a concrete egg and old oak barrels this richly flavoured Pinot Gris was aged on lees for a period of 4 months to enhance texture and complexity.
Brilliant pale straw colour with subtle flashes of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense ripe pear, lychee and musk scents mix with whiffs of honeysuckle and cinnamon. Rich, full and glossy textured, a concentrate of ripe pear, musk and Turkish delight flavours engulf the palate. Extending across the back half are notions of honeysuckle, red apple, quince and cinnamon spice. Brisk acidity lending freshness to the otherwise long, luscious finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
