2025 Kooyong Massale Pinot Noir
Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, AUSTRALIA
Light, juicy and supple with a long, savoury conclusion.
Semi translucent red colour with black toned edges and a vibrant light red hue. Fragrant red to dark cherry, wild strawberry and violet scents blossom out of the glass complimented by whiffs of anise, forest floor, dried herbs and spicy bramble. Light, juicy and supple, delicious red to dark cherry and strawberry fruits build incrementally across the palate. Subtle anise, forest floor, bramble and spicy dried herb elements linger underneath. Excellent power wave with polished tannins and a long, savoury conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13%
Other Reviews…..
Easy to enjoy this as it offers plenty of enticing aromas and flavours all bound up with racy acidity and silty, fine tannins. Bergamot, fresh herbs and a whiff of lavender plus wood smoke, autumn leaves and loads of cherries (pips and all). The palate is neatly composed – not too much of anything – and it ends up a delicious drink-now option. Drink by 2031.
