Brilliant water like colour with green highlighted edges. Scents of lime juice and green apple skin are trailed by hints of mandarin and stony mineral notes. Lime juice and crunchy Granny Smith apple flavours race across the mouth watering palate. Some tangy orange and stony mineral elements sit in the background. Crisp acidity with a dry, tense finish.

A little edgier in acidity and grippier than previous releases, which raises the potential for some further ageing. In saying that, the grape's preserved lemon and almond savouriness is still apparent – that's a good thing – and, so too, the zesty citrus bonanza. Lemon, grapefruit pith and green apple with savoury notes and a saline tang light up the palate. Nuff said; it's obligatory with shellfish. Drink by 2028.
