Matured in seasoned French oak for 15 months. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Alluring dark plum, liquorice and blackberry scents waft from the glass complimented by hints of blueberry, vanillin cedar and peppered fennel. Rich and sumptuous, the full bodied palate is flooded with a tidal wave of opulent dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and blueberry fruits. Displaying excellent concentration, depth and power, it has an opulent yet slightly chewy mouth feel. Notions of spicy vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth the undercard. Youthfully fresh it has polished yet structured tannins and a very long finish that’s bursting with succulence.
