2025 Heggies Vineyard Cloudline Chardonnay

A fresh, fruit driven expression of Chardonnay.

Heggies Vineyard Cloudline Chardonnay derives its name from the cold months of autumn and winter when the vineyard is often shrouded in low lying fog and cloud. 28% of the blend was fermented and matured for 8 months in Burgundian French oak (7% new), the balance fermented in stainless steel.
Brilliant pale straw colour with green highlighted edges and a watery hue. Nectarine pear and citrus aromas drift through the nostrils followed by some melon and spice notes. Fleshy nectarine, melon and citrus fruits have a wet stone and mineral back drop. Crisp acidity with a refreshing fruit driven finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
