2025 Freycinet Wine Glass Bay Sauvignon Blanc
Intensely flavoured with crunchy acidity and impressive textural volume across the scrumptious finish.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with green highlighted edges and a watery hue. Pungent herbaceous gooseberry, passionfruit and green apple scents jump out of the glass trailed by some grassy asparagus like notes. Outstanding intensity with mouth watering gooseberry, passionfruit and lime fruits intermingling with some herbaceous grassy asparagus and mineral elements. Crunchy acidity with impressive textural volume across the scrumptious finish.
Drink over the next year.

Other Reviews…..
Estate-grown, East Coast sauvignon blanc; 40% barrel fermented in old French oak barriques. Bright and lifted with aromas of gooseberry, passionfruit and citrus with hints of crushed stone, a whiff of flint, white flowers and sea spray. Crisp and mouth-filling, with light clotted-cream tones and soft spice. The flavours swell on the mid-palate before focusing with a minerally cadence. Drink by 2029.
