2025 Forest Hill Vineyard Chardonnay

A fresh, well fleshed Chardonnay that displays good length.

Sourced from three sites on the Forest Hill Vineyard, Block 8 and Block 9 planted in 1985 and Highbury Fields with maturation taking place in French oak (20% new).
Brilliant pale straw colour with green toned edges and a watery hue. Uplifted nectarine, white peach and dried honey aromas fill the nostrils with whiffs of cashew, citrusy nougat and gun flint also chiming in. Mid weighted the palate is lined with white peach, nectarine and citrus fruits. Lively acidity with biscuity nougat, dried honey and spice elements extending across the back half. Fresh, well fleshed finish of good length.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
