A refined, mid weighted Beechworth Chardonnay with a faint creamy feel lingering across the long, elegant finish.

Brilliant pale straw colour with gleaming green tinted edges and a watery hue. Expressive nectarine and white peach scents are trailed by dried honey, citrusy nougat, crème brulee, subtle bacon fat and spice notes. The refined, mid weighted palate is detailed with white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours which meld into a delicate back drop of biscuity nougat, cashew and gun flint. Good underlying freshness with a faint creamy feel lingering across the long, elegant finish.

A number of picks at different levels of sugar ripeness, wild fermentations and a range of different techniques see this wine becoming finer, firmer in acid drive and more lively in fresh citrus, while retaining its textural component. A burst of lemon, honeysuckle, grapefruit and citrus blossom aromas with light spice, apple and hazelnut. Delves a little deeper on the palate, with a core of solids-derived complexity on show and fruit concentration alongside brisk acidity.
