2025 Coriole Piquepoul
Delicious pear, red apple, mandarin and peach fruits carry ample shape with stony mineral elements lingering through the finish.
Brilliant pale straw colour with green toned edges and a watery hue. Pear, green to red apple skin and lime aromas mix with peach, fragrant wild herb and subtle quince notes. Delicious pear, red apple, mandarin and peach fruits carry ample shape with delicate quince and spice elements sitting in the background. Brisk acidity with some stony mineral elements lingering through the lengthy finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

Other Reviews…..
The synergy between McLaren Vale and this grape variety is clear. Even in a more torrid vintage it keeps its form.
Lemon pulp, white nectarine, white flowers, green banana and a little mint. It has a sappy sort of crunch to it, perhaps a little more waxy this vintage, but still fresh and lively, a lightly pulpy lemon pith bitterness, but also perfumed with it, and the length is good, closing stony and tight. Saline and delicious. Drink 2025-2029.
