Other Reviews...
The 2025 Couhins Blanc is a total stunner. Lemon confit, white flowers, chalk, slate and mint all race across the palate. It offers an absolutely dazzling interplay of textural richness and energy. Superb. Drink 2027-2045.

This blend of 96% sauvignon blanc and 4% sauvignon gris has volume, balance and tropical influence. Medium-bodied with citrusy acidity. Succulent with plenty of ripe lemon character on the palate and a focused, flavorful finish with excellent length.

Always a brilliant white from this estate, the 2025 Château Couhins Blanc comes from clay and limestone soils and is based on 96% Sauvignon Blanc and 4% Sauvignon Gris. More stone and white fruits as well as chalky minerality and mint define the bouquet, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a concentrated mouthfeel, bright, racy acidity, and a great finish. It shows the riper style of the year while bringing chiseled, racy acidity, and it will keep for 30 years or more.

A solid effort, shaped by selective harvesting, whole cluster pressing and ageing in larger format barrels with lees stirring. The last grapes were picked on 9 September. The aromatic profile leans toward gooseberry and pink grapefruit with faint herbal nuances. The palate reveals a gently yeasty, lees–influenced character: more textural than lactic. There is fresh structure and moderate complexity including white orchard fruit and a subtle hint of sweetness towards the finish. A mellow white, easy going, well suited to the table, though lacking the tension and depth of more compelling whites of the vintage. Drink 2026-2036.
